How Do You Do A Devil’S Press? [Solved]
Do a burpee and at the bottom, touch your chest to the ground. Then, pick up the dumbbells and keep them moving in a continuous motion overhead. Don’t do a clean and jerk - just keep going until both dumbbells are above your head with your elbows, hips, and knees all locked out over the center of your body. That’s one rep!
Feet Position: Start with your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart, toes pointed outwards.
Squat Down: Bend your knees and lower into a deep squat position, keeping your chest up and back straight.
Push Up: Push through the heels to stand up, pressing the dumbbells overhead as you do so.
Lower Back Down: Reverse the motion by lowering back down into a deep squat position while controlling the weight of the dumbbells as you do so.
Repeat: Repeat this movement for desired number of repetitions or time frame
The devil press is a great exercise for strengthening your core and upper body. It’s a real challenge, but if you stick with it, you’ll be feeling the burn in no time! You start by lying on your back with your arms extended above your head. Then, you lift both legs off the ground and press them up towards the ceiling while simultaneously pressing your arms up towards the sky. It’s tough, but trust me - it’s worth it!
